The potential for Epeius pathotropic TDS technologies to revolutionize the field of medical delivery is profound, enabling unprecedented demonstrations of single agent efficacy in clinical trials, thus encouraging novel combinatorial approaches and strategic collaborations in clinical development. With a strong intellectual property portfolio, clinical validation of its technology platforms, and regulatory approval of its “best of breed” lead product, Epeius is now in a position to open the numerous possibilities of collaboration and alliances to prospective sponsors.
Focus areas include pathotropic targeting of genetic medicine, targeted vaccination and auto-immunization, pathotropic targeting of recombinant fusion proteins, pathotropic diagnostics, P4 stem cell capture and their applications in gene therapy and regenerative medicine.
Epeius has recently begun development of a state-of-the-art automated GMP vector production unit (VPU) in Carlsbad California to create a flagship, modular production unit that will exceed current FDA manufacturing requirements. This unit will become a model VPU that can easily be constructed in other areas of the world to meet increasing production demands locally.
