Epeius’ leading clinical product, Rexin-G™, is the world’s first tumor-targeted gene therapy vector for the treatment of primary and metastatic cancer.  Rexin-G has been demonstrated to cause tumor shrinkage and necrosis in patients suffering from metastatic cancer and is highly active against a broad spectrum of chemo-resistant tumor types.  Rexin-G, has been approved by the U.S. FDA for use in Phase I/II clinical trials and has been granted accelerated approval in the Philippines by the Bureau of Food and Drugs, BFAD.  Rexin-G, has also received Orphan Drug Status from the U.S. FDA regulatory agency.

Epeius is currently developing Reximmune-C™, for the rapid, strategic and individualized vaccination of each patient against his or her specific cancer type.  Reximmune-C, is designed to recruit the body’s immune cells to the cancer site by delivering immune-response genes directly to the cancerous lesion.  Reximmune-C, is currently being investigated in clinical trials in combination with Rexin-G to provide a treatment regimen that can reduce tumor burden and recruit the body’s immune cells to prevent cancer recurrence.
